STÖRI MANTEL is the owner of the patent over the single disc rip saws. This company has produced a lot of this saws for other successful companies. On the exhibition Ligna 2007 there was exposed the new overworked single disc rip saw FLS 170.
STÖRI MANTEL provides the FLS 170 with a SPS Controlling of Schneider Group which includes chain dimensions functions. Furthermore there can be installed a manual controlled operating of the arrester. This arrester is appropriated on the front side of the machine.
On demand the FLS 170 can be appropriated a step construction with a PC-cut optimization and laser-projection. So there can be guaranteed an optimal wood recovery.

There are different guide rails on the left and rightside of the saw blade. This rails have feed guides with mm-dimension spacers. The feed motions are available only manual or pneumatic controlled.
